The latest rumours on the IPad 4

Rumours are sparked once again about the new Apple iPad 4 which is expected to be released this year. It seems the Chinese web company, NetEase, has recently claimed that Apple is developing the new mini iPad 4 and will go on sale to compete with the new windows 8-based tablets that are expected to be released at the same time.

When the iPad 3 was released it didn’t deliver what was promised and that was a smaller screen so now as you may guess the main feature to the iPad 4 is that the screen is expected to be quite noticeably smaller.

An anonymous Chinese post had been found on kotaku.com an internet video gaming website discussing the release of the mini iPad and was then traced back to the Chinese web portal, NetEase. But this is not the only mention of the new iPad 4 in latest technology gossip.

It seems an unnamed official for Samsung has let slip of a few details on this subject and claims that Samsung have provided Apple with the latest LCD technology to helping them create a screen at approximately 7.86 inches in size, compared to the current model on the market which is a larger 9.7 inches.

It will be interesting to see how this smaller and lighter iPad will do up against its rivals the Windows 8 Tablet and the Amazon Kindle Fire Tablet. We will have to wait and see what will happen as Apple will not comment on rumours and speculation.
